The Time I Blessed Someone with a Prophetic Word

I was at one point, doubtful God could use me to speak life to someone, but I was wrong. I’ve seen God use other people and desired for the gift.

He used Moses, who was insecure of his speech.

Moses said to the LORD, ‘Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.'” Exodus 4:10

I do not consider myself eloquent in speech, articulate in explanations, nor do I speak with clarity.

I do hear from Him and He has used me to grant others hope, vision, confirmation, and healing for their current situation – past, present, or future.

Moses had no skills or prior experience in performing signs and miracles. With some encouragement, Moses was willing to take on the task and carry out God’s will.

God’s will is also for you to experience his signs and wonders.

God gave me an opportunity to pray for a friend after church. He complained his back was bothering him and he believed it had to do with sciatic pain. Casually, without even blinking, I said “let’s pray.”

As I prayed for Jesus to cancel all pain and for his back to be healed, I heard from the Lord the pain wasn’t going to be healed right away. I told him “you will be healed in 2-3 days.

He reported back to me right after the 3rd day and told me his pain was 100% gone. Not just “a little better.” Not just “feeling ok,” but GONE!

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; ” Romans 12:6

God loves His children so much that He wants to bless them with His power. I was thankful He trusted me to witness to one of these miracles.

The most important aspect in all of this – I was confident. According to Romans, my faith held some major weight in this miracle. What is even better is this prophetic word helped strengthen my friend’s faith.

Prophetic words do not have to be complicated, they just need to stem from love and faith.

Do you desire this gift? God will equip you if you so desire. If you desire this gift, stay tuned for what’s coming ahead. I have some amazing news to share in the next month!

Hey Melissa! Yes, God will use you and He knows the rejection will come. Part of it is out of us stepping out of fear and the other part is planting a seed for that person. You may never know what will transpire in this person’s life later on, but they will remember Jesus reaching out to them because of your leap of faith. Keep stepping out and continue to bless others! 1 Cor 3:6-8

That’s so awesome Patty! God will use whoever is willing. Great post! Do you think it’s possible for God to ask you to help someone and they turn down your help? I had an experience when I felt like God was pressing on my heart to help someone but the person declined. I walked away confused. I asked God if he told me to do that and why. The response I got was people rejected Jesus. Have you experienced that before?
